Each season, a number of volunteers give their time and energy to volunteer with the Friends of Pemaquid Point Light. They conduct tours of the tower and perform basic maintenance tasks. If the town is successful in its efforts to reunite the tower with the park, those FPPL volunteers would be welcomed with open arms. No park ever has too many volunteers -- and the members of FPPL would be an invaluable community resource. With their deep appreciation for this historic treasure, and a desire to share their knowledge with others, they would be instrumental in expanding the educational, recreational and cultural opportunities available at the park.
